Reverend George Washington Quinby, D. D.

Rev. Quinby was the third Universalist minister in (North) Yarmouth, Maine. On December 26, 1837,
he married Lucy Ann Corliss, the older sister of one of Yarmouth's historians, General Augustus W. Corliss.
He became the publisher of "The Gospel Banner," in Augusta, Maine, where he continued to advertise his books.
