The book is 508 pages. The poem "School is Out," is 330 pages. It is followed by 348 notes on 170 more pages to page 500. Each note to the poem describes a person included within the context of the poem. This is the real value of the book. Colesworthy describes many honorable persons from Portland, Maine, Boston and Chelsea, Massachusetts, and other famous or noted personages of the nineteeth century. The final eight pages include reviews of his 1873 book, "The Year."

Because this is my only copy, I will only sell it for the price of $495.00.
